One of the best things about living in the Ägeri Valley is all the local events that bring us together. As a member of the Ägeri High Heels community, you’ve got the inside scoop—here’s what’s happening in September.
Ägerimärcht (Ägeri Market)
Saturday, September 6 to Monday to September 9
Unterägeri Dorf Opening times
Rides and games: Saturday from 13:00, then all day and night Saturday and Sunday
Market Stalls: Sunday from 9:00 to 19:00 and a smaller selection on Monday
The Ägerimarkt is one of the most anticipated events in the valley, but Sunday is the real highlight. On this day, the main road is closed to traffic and turns into a bustling street festival lined with stalls, local produce, handmade crafts, and plenty of delicious food to try. The lively atmosphere makes it the perfect day out for families, friends, and anyone who wants to experience the heart of Ägeri in full swing.

Blutspenden (Blood Donation)

KindLine Spielzeugflohmarkt (Children’s Flea Market – From Children for Children by Kindline)

This is a wonderful chance for kids to step into the world of selling, buying, and trading in a fun and relaxed way. The motto is simple: “From children for children".
How it works:
No registration is needed.
Children simply bring their blanket and the toys, books, or treasures they’d like to sell.
Arrival & setup: from 9:30 am.
Market starts: 10:00 am.
Participation is free!
It’s the perfect opportunity for kids to practice skills like handling money, making deals, practicing their German language skills, and learning the joy of giving things a second life.
At the same time, A Sustainability Market will also be taking place alongside the children’s flea market. Here, kids can explore creative activities and learn how small steps can make a big difference for the environment. It’s a day full of fun, community spirit, and sustainable thinking

*We accept seasonally appropriate, clean, intact, and fashionable clothes and shoes for babies, children, teenagers, and maternity clothes, as well as well-maintained, functional children's bikes, sporting goods, strollers, car and bike seats, high chairs, baby items, games and toys, puzzles, books, music cassettes, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, etc.
SRF LIVE EVENT Oberägeri

Activities begin from 13:30, and the Live Broadcast begins after 20:00
Swiss Television (SRF) will be in Oberägeri with their live show SRF bi de Lüt – Live. This is a major event for our valley, featuring free afternoon activities for all ages and the opportunity to watch the national TV broadcast live from the village in the evening.
We’re especially proud that Ägeri High Heels will be featured, sharing our story and how our community helps internationals and locals connect and celebrate life together. It’s a special moment for Oberägeri – come join in and be part of it!
Repair Café Unterägeri

Has something at home stopped working, and you don’t know how to fix it? Bring it along to the Repair Café, whether it’s a lamp, toaster, toy, or chair, and a team of skilled volunteers will help you give it a second life. The service is free (you only cover spare parts), it’s first-come, first-served, and there’s coffee and cake while you wait.
Lake Aegeri Boat Cruise - Season End Party

Soon, the 2025 season on Lake Ägeri will come to an end. We want to celebrate this with you once again and are launching an '80s/’90s ship. True to the motto "Let us end the season with a party!"
