Of Course It’s About the Game… But Really, It’s About So Much More

For 49 years, the SC Frosch Ägeri Tournament has been bringing Unterägeri together. With good weather, a lively crowd, and games played lakeside, it’s always a highlight of the season. Held the first week after school starts, it’s the perfect chance to catch up with friends after summer and enjoy a weekend of sport and fun.
For us at Ägeri High Heels, this tournament has grown into something very special. Three years ago, one of us said, “Why don’t we get a women’s team together and play?” And every year since, we’ve come back stronger, more skilled, and even more a part of this event. It’s now a tradition we look forward to—something that makes us proud to be regulars in the tournament lineup.
We’re proud to be the only all-women’s team in the Plausch Tournament, diving in against men with arms like jet wings. But no problem, because we go in together. What matters most is not the scoreboard, but the spirit: teamwork, friendship, and the joy of sharing these moments as a community. And yes, the Plausch category is for everyone, you can even play with floaties if you like!
Next year will be the 50th anniversary of this fantastic event. Mark your calendars and join us to celebrate—whether from the lakeside stands or right there in the pool. It’s a tradition that shows what sport is all about: bringing people together, creating memories, and having fun along the way.
Here’s to many more years of sunshine, laughter, and flying our Ägeri High Heels flag with pride.
