Welcome to October

Hello October!

I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the beautiful autumn colours in the Ägeri Valley. It’s a lovely time to wander through the forest, read this month’s article on mushroom collecting, and visit a local farm such as Gubel for pumpkins to brighten your doorstep.

Of course, October also means Halloween! I hope many of you will join us for Ägeri Trick or Treat on 24 October. TeleZüri has contacted us to feature the special tradition our community has created here in the village. It’s wonderful to see Ägeri come together for it each year.

There’s more to enjoy this month, too: come along to Oktoberfest on 3 October from 7 pm (dirndls welcome!), join us for Games Night, and round off the month with our family costume hike and grill on 31 October. Have a look through the events and join us when you can.

New Activities in the Valley

CHÄÄS AM SEE: Fondue & Raclette by the Lake

Cosy autumn evenings are coming to the Ägerisee! From 16 October to 15 November, Seebeizli Studenhütte in Oberägeri is serving fondue and raclette in a heated lakeside tent. Start with a drink by the fire, then settle in for cheese, good company and a view of the lake. For a special get-together, you can also reserve one of two private gondolas.
