Summer, Sunshine & Community - Almost 1 year after announcing our Membership

Last night's Summer Kick-Off Party was one of my favourite events of the year.

Actually, I think I say that after most events! But there is something special about seeing people come together, catching up with old friends, meeting new faces, and simply enjoying being part of this amazing community.

The sun was shining, the atmosphere was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many people come out to celebrate the start of summer. Looking around, I felt incredibly grateful for what we have built together.

Almost 14 years ago, I started Ägeri High Heels because I was once the newcomer trying to find my place here too. With young children and limited local knowledge, I often found attending events overwhelming. Questions like "Where do I park?", "Will my children be okay?" and "Will I understand what's happening?" often made getting involved feel harder than it needed to be.

That's why Ägeri High Heels has always been about more than events. It's about helping people feel confident enough to get out, explore, connect, and experience all the wonderful things our community has to offer.

What makes me most proud is that this has become a true pay-it-forward community. It's not just me sharing information. It's all of you helping each other, answering questions, welcoming newcomers, and making people feel at home.

Almost a year ago, we launched the Ägeri High Heels Membership to make sure valuable local information, connections, and support weren't getting lost in chat messages. My goal was to reach 150 members within the first year.

Today, we're only a few members away.

Thank you to everyone who has joined, supported, attended events, shared recommendations, and helped others along the way.
