Oberaegeri - Your Guide to Understanding all the Upcoming Events Celebrating Samichlaus

I am still fairly new to Oberägeri, and this winter marks my very first experience of the village’s local December traditions. Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to be invited by the Gemeinde Oberägeri to the opening night of their special exhibition, JUNGS JAGEN, MÄDCHEN GLÄNZEN, about these unique customs, from the lively Chlauseseln on December 5 to the singing Engeln on Christmas Eve. The exhibition can be visited for free until December 15 at the Rathaus in Oberägeri.
