Moving to a new village means you are always discovering it in layers. Even if you have been here a while, there is a good chance Unterägeri still holds stories you have never heard. Local guide Geni Häusler, a true Unterägeri original, has been asking questions about the village's history since childhood, and he brings that curiosity and deep knowledge to a guided walk through the Südost quarter. Using historical and current photographs, he shows familiar streets and places in a completely different light, tracing how the village has changed over the decades. The route takes you along the Seestrasse, Dorfplatz, Höfnerstrasse, Ennermattstrasse, Schönenbühl, and surrounding streets, covering around 2 km in about 90 minutes. A highlight for newcomers and long-time residents alike.

Sommerabendgrill im Chlösterli

A proper summer evening out, right in the village. The Chlösterli is hosting a summer grill evening with a spread of grilled meats and salads, accompanied by live music across the evening. The Blaskapelle Etzelkristall plays at 17:00, 18:30 and 20:00, with the Dorfspatzen Oberägeri filling the gaps at 17:45, 19:15 and 20:45. A convivial, easy evening that is very much worth stepping out for.
