Light the Lanternweg Together

Each year, we come together to celebrate one of Ägeri’s most magical traditions: lighting the Lanternweg. Families are very welcome, and you’re just as welcome to join us on your own.

Lanternweg has been part of Unterägeri’s holiday season for more than 20 years. Created by volunteers as a gift of light during the dark winter months, it has become a beautiful symbol of community, togetherness, and festive cheer.

This year, our job is to light all the candles along the trail for everyone to enjoy. We’ll walk together through the winter evening, stopping along the way to warm up with a hot punch or Glühwein, enjoy a treat, and share good company.

For those who are up for it, we can finish the evening at the Laternenstübli with a drink or something delicious to eat. This event is a special way to kick off the holiday season. Jody
