Guided Snowshoe to Wildspitz – This Saturday

Join me for a guided snowshoe to Wildspitz, beginning right here in the Ägeri Valley. If you’re not hitting the slopes this weekend, this is your invitation to experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

The Plan

We'll meet in the car park at 8:45 to start preparing our equipment. After introductions, we'll set off promptly at 09:00. The ascent is 5 km with an elevation gain of 750 meters. It's a challenging climb, so a good fitness level is important. However, we will take breaks along the way. We'll maintain a steady pace, take short breathers when needed, and enjoy good conversation as we go. There's nothing better than walking up the mountain together with fresh snow underfoot.

Once we reach the top, we'll stop for lunch together in the restaurant (everyone pays for their own). A hot meal and a drink will refuel us for our descent. Coming back down will be faster as we will have found our rhythm, and it's downhill.

• Snowshoe equipment: If you lack equipment, you can often borrow from a friend or rent from Intersport Ägeri, where they'll assist you in getting exactly what you need.

• Available spots: Limited to 12 participants (minimum of 4 required)

• Experience costs: 65 CHF for Active Ägeri High Heels Members, 85 CHF for Non-Members
  

A little about me

For those who are newer to joining me in the mountains, I’ve been guiding hikes, sunset walks, retreats, and snowshoe adventures to Wildspitz for the past six years. It is truly one of my favorite places to go and enjoy the hidden beauty of our mountains.

There’s something special about leading a group to the top, watching everyone push through the climb, arrive with that mix of tired legs and big smiles, and stand together taking in the view. It’s something I always cherish.
