A STRONGER, MORE CONNECTED ÄGERI HIGH HEELS COMMUNITY - IMPROVING OUR CHATS

We’re bringing our community conversations together in one place.

Over the years, the Ägeri High Heels WeCare Chats have become an incredible source of local knowledge, recommendations, questions, connections and support.  As Ägeri High Heels has grown, so have the conversations happening within our community.

Last year, we took an important next step and launched the Ägeri High Heels (AHH) Membership. During that first year, the original WeCare Chats remained open to the wider community while we developed the membership, listened to our community and learned how we could provide even more value and support.

Now it’s time for the next step.

The Ägeri High Heels WeCare Chats are moving into the Ägeri High Heels Members Community, where they will be available exclusively to active AHH members.

WHY ARE WE MAKING THIS CHANGE?

Quite simply, we want to create a stronger, better-organised and more connected community.

There is an incredible amount of useful information shared through our chats. Someone asks about schools, another person needs a doctor recommendation, someone is looking for a house, while another member knows about a great local event.

The challenge with one busy WhatsApp chat is that valuable information can quickly disappear.  At the same time, managing conversations across different communities makes it harder for us to monitor the chats, contribute where we can help and make sure questions and useful information are being seen.

Bringing our community conversations together within the membership allows us to:

• Better organise conversations and information

• Make it easier to find the right place to ask a question

• Help prevent valuable information from getting lost

• Better manage and support the conversations taking place

• Connect members around shared interests

• Focus our time and resources on one active community

Most importantly, it allows us to continue building a community where people connect, share and support one another.

BUILT FROM WHAT WE’VE LEARNED THROUGH WECARE

WeCare isn’t disappearing its evolving into something stronger and more effective.  Years of conversations have shown us the questions people ask, the information people need and the topics that continually bring our community together. What we’ve learned from it has helped us shape what comes next.  The WeCare historical chat will remain but the abilty to post will no longer be possible. All new conversations will take place in the new AHH Members Community.

When you enter the Ägeri High Heels Members Community, you’ll find our main Announcements group together with a selection of topic-based groups.

Ahh Members Announcements This is your main source of information from Ägeri High Heels. Here we will share upcoming events and important community news. Replies are turned off so important information remains clear and easy to find.

Each group has its own description explaining what belongs there, making it easier to know where to post. And you don’t need to participate in everything. Choose the groups that interest you and make the community your own.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE EXISTING WECARE CHATS?

The existing Ägeri High Heels WeCare Chats will close to new post on AUGUST 18.  The historical chat information will be available for several months.

Ägeri High Heels has always been about connecting people. What began as a way to help people find information and meet others in the Ägeri Valley has continued to grow and evolve because people have been willing to ask questions, share what they know, recommend a great local business, welcome someone new or simply show up.  The WeCare Chats have played an important role in that journey.

As we move into this next chapter, our goal remains the same: to connect people, share knowledge and create a community where we can support one another.

By bringing our conversations together in one place, we can focus our time and energy on continuing to make that community stronger.
