Mother’s Day Hike to Wildspitz
Give yourself a gift that you won't regret. Take a little time for yourself, fresh air, good company, and a day to simply enjoy. All you have to do is show up… and I’ll take care of the rest.
Time & Location
May 09, 2026, 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location is TBD
Event Description
Spend the day outdoors, enjoying good company, beautiful views, and not having to think or plan a thing. WHAT A GIFT. It’s a chance to switch off, laugh, and enjoy a little “me time” all while doing something that feels good. Together, we’ll make our way up to Wildspitz, the highest point in Canton Zug, right here in our backyard. We will enjoy a meal together, and then head back down to reality. I’ll guide you up and back, and along the way I’ll share how the routes connect, where the trails meet, and a few shortcuts you can use for future hikes. It’s a day of getting away from it all without actually leaving the valley.
THE PLAN
We’ll choose the best route based on the weather and group level closer to the date, aiming for a loop where possible.
What to expect:
Approx. 5 km up / 5 km down
Around 750 m elevation gain
A steady, social pace (this is about enjoying it, not racing up).
A mountain lunch with incredible views
Great company
Along the way, we’ll stop for a small mountain snack, and at the top, we’ll take in the views, grab a group photo, and enjoy a beautiful meal at the Wildspitz mountain restaurant (meal paid individually).
Bring Your Friends and see the Benefits
Come on your own and meet new people, or bring a friend and make it your kind of day. This is about surrounding yourself with your people or finding a new tribe to spend the day with. As more women join, it simply becomes better for everyone, creating a relaxed and social group atmosphere. Take time for yourself, enjoy a little “me time,” and connect with a great group of women.

This hike is suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness. You should feel comfortable walking uphill for a sustained period, covering the distance and elevation at a steady pace. There’s no pressure, just come ready to move, enjoy, and be part of the group. I am happy to chat with you about the hike if you are questioning your fitness level. Come on out and join us....
